When British Airways asked us to create a Bodypainting illusion of an Alligator, it sounded like an exciting opportunity for us. They chose the Gatwick Airport in London for the shoot location and our artist Johannes Stoetter became really enthused of the news.
The biggest challenge in England is always the weather, and it shared with us, it's fully range that day - from rain, storm to snow and sunshine to freezing temperatures. The preparation was executed inside one of the airport hangars. As master bodypainter Johannes Stoetter was about to finish painting a short period of sun appeared and we were able to proceed to the runway to finish the illusion in front of a huge Airbus. Crazy that we got the permission from British Airways for realizing this project.
The weather was indeed the perfect cold, as the bodypainting would promote British Airways destination "Florida".
