The WB Production Team did incredible to produce the 25th anniversary of the World Bodypainting Festival in Klagenfurt, Austria last July.
When festival director and WB Production ceo Alex Barendregt started in 1998 with the festival, he could not imagine what can be done with such a happening. Now 25 years later we all are looking back on a wonderful journey. A journey that shaped life, family, friends.
Dispite the problems around the world, dispite the russian war against the Ukraine, dispite the covid situation still in many countries, the problems of travelling and high prizes in basically everything - SO MANY CAME!
The main goal was not to put the 25th in the focus, it was to use the WBF to bring awareness to the war in Europe and to get funds for our Ukraine Help project. And so many of you supported this idea.
We are thankful for everything not only in this year, in all these years - so many people we got to know and so many wonderful projects we were able to produce.
The amazing WB Production team, the amazing family, supporters and sponsores, we all made it happen. The theme of the festival was GENERATION NEXT. We choose this theme because this 25th anniversary was the end of a story.
